Day 1 - 3

Tongabezi Lodge - Zambia (2-Nights)

The ultimate destination for romance and bespoke travel, the real beauty of the Tongabezi experience lies in its ability to set a scene and inspire a truly magical adventure. The lodge has an extensive variety of Cottages and Houses catering to all guests and groups.

Sindabezi Island is a castaway dream on a white sand beach surrounded by the Zambezi, just a short boat ride from the main jetty. Tongabezi also offers thrilling boat trips to the incredible Livingstone Island in the middle of Victoria Falls.

Victoria Falls (Zambia)

Situated along the southern border of Zambia, Victoria Falls is a spectacular sight of awe-inspiring beauty and grandeur on the Zambezi River. It forms the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe and stretches across almost two kilometres into a gorge over one hundred metres below - making it one of the world’s widest waterfalls.

Dubbed ‘The Smoke that Thunders’ by locals, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is a popular tourist destination for those visiting Zambia. It is world-renowned for its sheer beauty and offers visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in spectacular landscapes inhabited by abundant wildlife.

Visitors can look forward to a wide range of adventure sports such as kayaking, white water rafting, ziplining, bungee jumping and bridge swinging; and those looking for more relaxation can enjoy a sunset boat cruise, game viewing, or browsing through the vibrant local Livingstone Market.

Day 3 - 5

Cresta Mowana Safari Resort & Spa - Chobe River Front (2-Nights)

Cresta Mowana Safari Resort & Spa is located on the banks of the mighty Chobe River. In the tranquil surroundings, guests can experience authentic African comfort, spacious accommodations and delectable cuisine. Take full advantage of a wealth of wildlife and embark upon an exhilarating game drive in the Chobe National Park. The national park is famed for it’s large elephant herds, and has some of the largest concentrations of game on the African continent.

For a more laid back holiday, tackle 9 holes on the popular golf course, or simply interact with the spectacular, natural surrounds on a slow walk along the river. Guests can also enjoy bird watching from the Mokoro, or a leisurely canoe trail on the waters of the Chobe. The onsite spa offers an opportunity for relaxation and recuperation with a range of treatments. The resort also features air conditioned guest accommodations, decorated in an Afro-centric style that adds to the natural ambiance.

Chobe River

The Chobe River forms the northern boundary of the Chobe National Park which is renowned for its diverse and abundant game viewing opportunities. This section of the park is best known for its dense concentration of wildlife including elephant and hippo populations, but the waters attract all manner of game including large herds of buffalo and the lions that prey on them.

A visit to the Chobe River Front guarantees close encounters with an array of African wildlife. Visitors can look forward to a range of exciting activities such as: driving along the game-dotted river banks in a 4WD; cruising along the river in a motorboat, spotting rare birdlife and for a unique, luxury safari experience, hire a houseboat.

Day 5 - 7

Eagle Island Lodge, A Belmond Safari - Botswana (2-Nights)

Eagle Island Lodge, A Belmond Safari, Botswana, is the ultimate Okavango Delta water- experience-focused safari lodge. 

Eagle Island Lodge is one of Botswana’s original safari lodges, perched on a private island encircled by some of the deepest stretches of the Okavango Delta, one of the world's largest inland water systems and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The lodge is decorated to reflect an explorer’s base. Design highlights in the twelve spacious deluxe tented rooms include oversized beds with views of the delta, large outdoor decks with a vista, private plunge pools, luxurious bathrooms with large tubs, indoor & outdoor showers, a relaxation and reading nook, and walk-in wardrobes.

Fully rebuilt public areas include a stylish dining area with a pizza oven, a lounge area with an artisan-style bar, a library, a separate campfire area and the Fish Eagle Bar which is located directly on the water. Local artisans and materials were used throughout the renovations.

The lodge offers a variety of essentially water-focused safari activities including motorboat safaris, barge cruises, mokoro safaris (a local canoe), fishing, as well as walking safaris and the ultimate air safari experience by helicopter – a highlight of any guests’ stay!

There is an abundance of bird and aquatic wildlife around the lodge, complemented by larger mammals such as elephant, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, as well as the ever elusive big cats that have made this island their home.

Moremi Game Reserve

Situated in the east of the Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve ranks as one of the most beautiful reserves in Africa. It covers more than 4871 square kilometres of pristine wilderness, and this varied terrain includes savannah, winding waterways, and dense forest.

The diverse ecosystem supports an incredibly wide spectrum of wildlife, ranging from large herds of buffalo, wildebeest and zebra, to the rare sitatunga and lechwe antelope, lion, cheetah and packs of wild dog in the open grasslands.

The birdlife is prolific and includes most of the 550 bird species recorded on Botswana’s national bird list. A range of luxury lodges in the reserve offers visitors the perfect base to experience this corner of paradise.
