Day 1 - 2

Tuningi Safari Lodge - Madikwe Game Reserve (4-Nights)

Tuningi Safari Lodge is situated in 165 000 acre, malaria free, "Big 5" Madikwe Game Reserve.

Only four and half hours drive or 50 minute flight from Johannesburg.  Tuningi offers five star service in a homely, friendly and relaxed environment and caters for children of all ages.

Madikwe Game Reserve

Bordering Botswana in South Africa’s North West Province, the lesser-known Madikwe Game Reserve is the fifth largest reserve in South Africa. It is home to a wild dog reserve, abundant wildlife including the world-renowned Big Five and over 300 bird species such as vulture, ostrich and the large kori bustard.

The landscape is characterised by vast grasslands, woodlands, and the rugged Tshwene Tshwene hills sheltering a host of wildlife. Visitors can look forward to sunset drinks overlooking the Madikwe Dam, ample game viewing opportunities and a variety of accommodation options ranging from community lodges to luxury safari lodges in a malaria-free zone.

Day 6 - 7

The Palace of The Lost City - Sun City (1-Night)

It is also known as the only surf-and-safari destination within a two-hour drive of the landlocked city of Johannesburg. Visitors can choose from a range of wonderful accommodation options including the opulent ‘Palace of the Lost City’ or the elegant ‘Cascades’ or enjoy the endless rolling waves at the ‘Valley of Waves’.

Day 7 - 9

The Blue Train (2-Nights)

Cape Winelands

Visitors can look forward to a variety of wonderful activities including: exploring a collection of historic little hamlets and towns dotting the countryside, sampling a wide selection of world-class wine at a historic Cape Dutch farmstead as well as many other wine estates; and enjoying a network of hiking and biking trails traversing the picturesque landscape. Cape Point

Cape Point is a spectacular sight, covered in endemic fynbos and home to breathtaking bays, beaches and rolling green hills and valleys, just 60km outside of Cape Town. Cape Point falls within the Cape Floral Region, a World Heritage Site. The Cape Floral Region is one of the richest areas for plants in the world – it is home to nearly 20% of Africa’s flora. Cape Point is open daily and is a must-see.

Table Mountain

Without a doubt it is Table Mountain that makes Cape Town the unique city it is. Rising up over 1000m above sea level, it is the icon that makes Cape Town instantly recognizable. It is a symbol, a playground, a spiritual retreat and a big draw card for tourists. So intertwined with the identity of Cape Town is Table Mountain that a visit to the city isn’t complete without having walked or taken the cable car to the top.
